Job Description


  • Provide leadership, guidance, and demonstrate a mature project management approach in managing technology projects
  • Work with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, and/or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes. Work closely with technical experts/project leads to ensure timely completion of deliverables with focus on meeting project commitments, including communications with customers
  • Lead in the planning, implementation, integration, deployment and projects for new systems and technologies
  • Build and manage budgets and resource allocations, and lead regular program management reviews focused on project financials
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Lead and support BD capture and proposal initiatives


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Minimum of eight (8) years leading technology teams or projects
  • Performed project management in a government environment and have had responsibility for successful delivery of IT projects meeting/exceeding client requirements and with high team satisfaction
  • 12+ years of experience providing technical and analytical support on projects involving full SDLC, process improvement, performance, and customer support
  • Hands-on experience managing IT project budgets and resources, and reporting on financials
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentations
  • Experienced and proficient in supporting capture, bid and proposal initiatives

Desired Experience:

  • PMP
  • Basic knowledge of administrative principles, regulations and operating procedures, along with knowledge of standardized Federal agency administrative practices and procedures
